CareFirst caregivers are very respectful and have been hand selected to provide careful and compassionate care in your home. All caregivers go through a vigorous background check and reference checking process. We also offer continuing education and regular training to keep our caregivers current with the latest safety and best practices in the industry.  We employ our caregivers and assume complete responsibility for screening, taxes, liability insurance and workers compensation.

Very often having someone stand by during regular personal care is all that is needed to ensure safety and prevent falls.  CareFirst caregivers can assist individuals who are unable to perform tasks of everyday hygiene and personal grooming, including help with bathing, oral hygiene, and dressing. ​Our caregivers will ensure the right level of support is given to encourage independence and maintain personal dignity. 

Meals and Cooking

No one likes to eat alone, CareFirst caregivers can encourage your loved one to eat a healthy diet that meets specific dietary restrictions or requirements and consume enough fluids to stay hydrated. Our caregivers can even prepare meals and handle kitchen clean-up.

Light Housekeeping and Laundry

Keeping up with household tasks can be challenging as health declines. CareFirst caregivers can help maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with chores related to care, such as making beds, cleaning the bathroom after grooming, and assisting with laundry.

Appointment Companion

Staying home doesn't mean being locked inside, CareFirst caregivers can provide companionship for social events, the theater, family gathering or other special occasion ensuring safe arrival to a destination and back home again. Appointment companions are also available for medical appointments.
