Your safety is our top priority
We remain prepared to care for clients. We have protocols in place, including training our staff and practicing for these scenarios. We also have protocols to stay connected with infection control and prevention teams, the CDC, and public health authorities. We continue to monitor this issue closely and take necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our clients, caregivers, and our community.
That’s the message we want you to know. We want you to be fully assured we continue to take action, and we respect that you are already taking extraordinary steps to safeguard so many parts of your life.
Here are some things we are doing at CareFirst to lower the risk of contracting COVID-19.
- Vigilantly following CDC’s updates and guidance
- Providing training for our caregivers
- Established and communicated to our caregivers the appropriate standards and practices for hand hygiene, use of sanitizers, and the cleaning of surfaces and equipment with EPA approved disinfectants.
- We’ve also taken deliberate steps to safeguard the health of our caregiver workforce and restrict our employees that are under surveillance or suspicion of exposure.
